Slime Care: Keeping Your Slime Slimey

Playing with Slime: How to optimize your fun

  • Wash and dry your hands before playing with slime.

  • When you finish playing with your slime, toss it back in its air-tight container, and store in a cool, dark place.

Troubleshooting: Is your slime…

  • Drying out or getting hard? Mix in a little lotion or school glue to bring it back to its soft, gooey state.

  • Sticky or melted? Dose your slime with a few drops of activator and knead to help it bounce back.

  • Dropping beads or glitter?  Items suspended in slime may fall out if you use too much activator, you can add a bit of glue to get it back into balance.

Activator: Mixing it up so you can dose it out

  • Take the 1 tsp. of included Borax and mix it into 1 cup of hot water.

  • You can store the mixed activator for multiple uses – but label it appropriately!

  • Do not get the Borax in your eyes or mouth!

Keeping it safe: Guidelines for the safest, most fun experience

  • Do not eat your slime! (Or put it in your mouth, your nose, your ears, etc...)

  • Slime is not recommended for kids 3 and younger.
